Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for Primary Election
Pursuant to Executive Orders, Governor Murphy moved the New Jersey Primary Election to July 7, 2020 and mandated that the election be conducted primarily by Vote by Mail (“VBM”), with limited in person polling locations open on Primary Election Day. Below are some answers to frequently asked questions about the primary election process.

Morris Area Energy Cooperative Energy Aggregation Program
The Energy Aggregation Program is supervised by the NJ Board of Public Utilities (BPU) and the NJ Division of Rate Counsel through N.J.A.C 14:4-6 et seq. Such programs allow for municipalities to pool the energy usage of their residents in an effort to source a lower rate on the electric supply portion of the bill.

Due to the increasing concerns of COVID-19 exposure, any person that has a matter within the Union Beach Municipal Court that is not facing a consequence of magnitude may complete the plea by mail form attached and mail the completed form to:

or fax it to 732-264-5098. There is also a drop box in the lobby. Please include a valid email and phone number in case the Municipal Prosecutor needs to discuss the matter further.
TAX ASSESSOR WILL BE AVAILABLE BY PHONE AND EMAIL UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
ALL DOGS MUST BE REGISTERED.
NJ state law requires that all dogs be registered. As of February 1st at $15.00 late fee is added to the registration fee for each dog. PLEASE REGISTER ON LINE UBNJ.NET.
Monmouth County Planning Board-CRS
The CRS program which is run by FEMA through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) scores communities on their effectiveness in dealing with flood mitigation as well as flood plain management and development. Flood insurance policy holders in participating CRS communities are eligible for discounts in Special Flood Hazard Areas based on their community’s CRS rating. The Monmouth County Division of Planning and the Monmouth County Office of Emergency Management have partnered to offer their professional and technical expertise in hazard mitigation, community planning, public outreach, and GIS mapping to municipalities that wish to participate in the Monmouth County Community Rating System Assistance Program.
